Each individual or group feeding therapy session is 45 minutes, with 5 minutes at the end for parent consultation/feedback.

Do you take insurance?

At this time, we do not currently bill insurance directly and are considered an out-of-network provider. At your request, we can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. If you do choose to submit for reimbursement, you would need to contact your insurance provider for your out-of-network benefits.

what do i ask my insurance provider?

If you are planning to submit a superbill for reimbursement, please ask your insurance provider the following:

  • What are my benefits for out-of-network speech therapy and occupational therapy?

  • How many visits are allowed per calendar year?

  • Is prior authorization required?

  • What is my out-of-network deductible? How much has already been met?

  • What percentage of the fee per session is covered based on usual and customary charges?

What is the cost of feeding therapy services?

Our current rates are very competitive in our area for private pay.

Your child will work with both an OT and SLP, and you will have the benefit of both disciplines.

Please email team@peakfeedingtherapy.com for our current rates.

Do you offer any discounts or packages?

We offer a “prompt pay” discount on our therapy packages when paid in full.

Please email team@peakfeedingtherapy.com

can i observe my child’s session?

When feeding therapy begins, we encourage school-aged children to participate independently to establish rapport, routine, behavior, and develop a trusting relationship with their feeding therapist. Once this is established, parents are welcome to observe and participate in sessions for home carryover, education of mealtime strategies, and to witness their child’s new feeding skills!

For younger children, parents are encouraged to stay for the session to directly participate in feeding therapy, mealtime routine, and home carryover.

*For children who have difficulty separating from their parents, we will work with you and your child to help transition them into the session until they are comfortable.

My child also needs Occupational and/or Speech therapy. Do you provide services other than feeding?

At this time, we specialize in feeding therapy. Many skills are naturally embedded into our treatment including fine motor skills, postural control, expressive/receptive language, social skills, and self-management. Given our therapists’ extensive experience and knowledge, we are happy to discuss your child’s additional therapy needs and provide necessary referrals.
